Is Alabama ready for an easy win against San Jose State on September 4th?

I hope so, 'Bama lost 9 defensive starters so who knows. It'll be on PPV so I'll not get to see the game. You going to root for the Spartans I assume?

The week after 'Bama plays Penn State which is one game they could lose.

No, I happened to be reading some college football articles online recently and happened to notice one about how the Spartans made their decision on who was going to be their starting qb against Alabama. My first thought was how could one of the WAC bottom-dwellers managed to arrange a game a team of their (the Crimson Tide's) caliber. It seems the only ranked teams that I noticed San Jose play in the past that are ranked in the polls is Boise State. I'll probably continue to root for Fresno State even though I can't stand their coach.

Alabama's Mark Ingram hurt his knee so he's out for a few games at least.

Aww, that sucks. I hope he didn't seriously hurt it and that he has a speedy recovery time.

Virginia Tech QB Tyrod "Bad Chili" Taylor recently completed 16 of 17 passes for over 300 yards in a scrimmage. Never mind that the Virginia Tech cheerleading squad was playing defense in the scrimmage. With the injury to Mark Ingram, Taylor is now officially the leading contender for the Heisman Trophy according to die-hard Hokie fans.

Well Ingram sure won't be a contender this year with his injury. I'm betting he'll miss 4 games; 3 for sure.

ESPN Gurus have Alabama losing 3 or 4 games.
(Florida, South Carolina, Arkansas and maybe Penn State.) No way!

Well, at least Alabama will have an easy win against San Jose State. After Boise State leaves there conference this season they should re-name it the "We Ain't Contenders" Conference from the Western Athletic Conference. Even if Fresno State and Nevada didn't get late invites to the MCC that conference would have become a joke.

I can see the Tide losing 1 or maybe 2 games but 4? Wll not happen.

I'm hoping the San Jose game will get the (new) 'Bama defense ready for Penn State.

I was paying bills but the South Carolina team looks good tonight from what I see with one eye.

South Carolina and Arkansas no way. South Carolina is still the same old mediocrity they've always been. Southern Miss was terrible. What was wrong with Jeff Bower anyway? Arkansas has a good QB but no defense at all. Florida is a possible loss but the Gators lost more to graduation than the Tide did.
