SEC is getting their assess kicked; 3 up and 3 down. Maybe tomorrow will be better.

Today was better; 3 more up and 3 SEC wins.

I'm surprised at how bad Michigan State looked against Alabama. Was the team sick or something??

What, you were expecting Michigan State to give Alabama a run for their money and work for that win? If the Spartans weren't sick before that a$s-kicking, I bet they were afterward. Felt bad for their fans, I bet they weren't expecting that.

Actually I did expect more of a competition, but every Big Ten team lost to the SEC.

I think it was yesterday, but Ohio State still has to get past Arkansas so maybe not until Wednesday.

I guess I have to root for Alabama's cross-state rival (grrrr) and hope Auburn wins against Oregon.

TCU vs Wisconsin was one of the best games I've seen in awhile. Two evenly matched teams fighting for the Rose Bowl. Fantastic.

I missed that game for some reason, probably reading, now I wish I hadn't missed it.

Ohio State finally got the SEC monkey off their back and won a game against the SEC team Arkansas 31 - 26. I'm not real sure Ohio state won as much as Arkansas lost since they had five game-changing passes dropped for no reason, they were perfect passes.

Auburn wins 22-19 against Oregon That's 5 in a row for the SEC!!!!!

Wish it had been Alabama but at least Auburn is an Alabama school.

WAYNE, Mich. — Fired Michigan coach Rich Rodriguez has turned out to be a Michigan man after all, donating 12 bags of Wolverines apparel to a Detroit-area Salvation Army store aimed at helping people in need.

There's no way they would let go of Jim Tressel. If they did there would probably be an uprising on the campus.

tOSU will have a new coach this fall for five games at least. That's the length of Tressel's suspension.

Tressel made news again by getting caught lying. To quote an article: "...the NCAA delivered a 13-page notice of allegations to Ohio State, calling out Tressel for his failure to act “with honesty and integrity ... as required by NCAA legislation” after he learned players had received money for selling OSU memorabilia. Tressel will appear before the NCAA Committee on Infractions on Aug. 12."

Tressel is a good coach and I hate to see him in such trouble over players. A shame he lost his integrity.
