Ohio State's name again being dragged through the mud, this time it has nothing to do with the school itself or current players.
Former Ohio State quarterback Art Schlichter was indicted Friday on 3 charges, after being accused of bilking a Dublin woman out of more than $1 million in a sports-ticket scheme.
Schlichter, 50, was indicted on 12 counts of theft and one count of engaging in a pattern of corrupt activity, 10TV News reported.
The indictment references a series of alleged thefts over the past several years and includes named and unnamed victims.
"If convicted on all charges, Schlichter faces a maximum sentence of over 30 years incarceration", said Franklin County prosecutor Ron O'Brien.
