5 years since Order of the Phoenix was released. (June 21) God. That felt like yesterday.

The anniversary edition cover is adorable.

It's been exactly a year since I was at the Barnes & Noble awaiting the arrival of the seventh book. In the United Kingdom, it's been a year since the book arrived. In just a few hours, 12:19 AM to be exact, was the moment I got the book. It was a great experience, and I am sad to say that I haven't read a Harry Potter book since July 21, 2008. Initially, I was upset, not knowing how to recover. It was tough. I do want to re-read the seventh book, since I had to finish it all in a day, or else be spoilered. It was an adventure though, and I'm glad I still have three movies to experience.

I'm SO excited for Beetle the Bard =D

On Halloween, it will be 10 years since I read the first book.
It's weird how it feels like it hasn't been that long...

I didn't read the books for real until..2001. October. So..probably 7 years for me. 7 is better than 10 for HP-ish stuff. I still haven't read the books since July 21. I feel so sad about that. I'll have to re-read again someday.

I am not too excited for Beetle the Bard. I read the summaries, but I guess I'll end up reading these. I can't wait for the encyclopedia, but I can't help imagine it will be a let down for me.

I think I'm going to start rereading them on Halloween... a 10 years later type deal. I meant to read all 7 in order after the 7th came out and I never did...

I couldn't imagine reading the books out of order. It just seems weird. I am too OCD to ever do that.

I only watch the movies, but they usually bore the living hell out of me.

Yeah, the movies sure gloss over everything, and take a lot of content out.
