What are your favorite books or book series?

My favorite book series is The Pendragon Adventure. Probably about 1/4 of my school is reading the series, so it is a pretty good series.

Perfect Match/Second Glace by Jodi Picoult are my favorite books, but I pretty much love anything by her

As far as series go, Harry Potter or Artemis Fowl

I forgot about Artemis Fowl. Two of my friends at school decoded the 1st and 4th book, and I decoded the 5th one (the stuff at the bottom). I can pretty much read that language now.

I'll just go with series since individual books are too many...

Used to really love Steven Brust's "Vlad Taltos" novels, but he really lost me on the last three or so books. me -->
Simon Green's "Nightside" series
Terry Pratchett's "Discworld" series
Kage Baker's "Company" series. Particularly the books with the 'secondary' characters Lewis and Joseph.
Orson Scott Card's "Ender's Game" series and "Homeworld" series.

I feel like I'm missing some authors, but they're free to email me if they have an issue.

My favorite book series is Harry Potter. I also love reading books by Mark Twain, Mary Higgins Clark, and Carol Higgins Clark.

Lately I've gotten into James Patterson's First To Die series. Quick, easy reads.

And as posted in my profile, Catcher in the Rye, 1984, Heart of Darkness and The Federalist Papers are some of my favorite books. That and basically anything and everything by Ray Bradbury and George Orwell.

Aside from a wide array of comic book series, I'm in love with the Hitchhiker's books. Can't recommend them enough.

Thats insanely awesome. I only own the paperbacks (nada on the bottom) because they're cheaper...

Angels and Demons is better than The DaVinci Code IMO. I enjoyed it a lot more. One hell of a page turner. Deception Point is also really good.

Yup, that's my order too. DaVinci and Deception took me a few days, I read A/D in one day because I couldn't put it down...

I liked Angels and Demons a little bit more than The DaVinci Code as well, and I thought both were good page turners.

Catcher in the Rye, Slaughterhouse-Five, Flowers for Algernon and the Harry Potter series are all great.
