I'm almost finished with this pirate book. "Expedition Whydah" by Barry Clifford & Paul Perenial, it's pretty interesting story about Black Sam Bellamy and his ship the Whydah.

Reading a book about the Battle of the Marne in 1914. The French made a great goal line stand against the Germans.

I tried to read "The Road" by Cormac McCarthy but it sucked so bad I gave my copy away.

I love the 1920's and it looks interesting so I added it to my cart. I gotta read faster.

Or buy slower.

Governors and Gangsters about Illinois governor Len Small in the 1920's. He's the one who continually pardoned Chicago gangsters. And you thought Blago was bad. The more things change in Illinois the more they stay the same.

That sounds like a good book. I love the 1920's and highly recommend this book about that era. "Flapper" by Joshua Zeitz. Great grandma was a wild child!!
