The Bible.
Aha, I'm just playing. I had to read "Things Fall Apart" in an English class in high school. It was quite awful.

Civil Disobedience and Other Essays by Thoreau. I had the unfortunate pleasure of reading it in a Intro to Lit class in college.

Revelation Space by Alastair Reynolds
600 pages of blah.
NONE of the characters had any value. By page 500, I threw the fockin' book across the room and yelled, "I hope you all die!"
never finished it or read another book by that hack.

I don't know if I've really read some bad books, but there are a ton of books that just bore me or are stupid I quit reading them.

One of the most boring books that I've read is from Nora Roberts. I didn't even finish the first chapter before I gave up on it!

OH GOD JOHN KNOWLES
Were you forced to watch the movie? They definitely carried over the spirit of flamboyance into that.

Yes. The movie was just as bad, if not worse.

Fear of Flying
, by Erica Jong.
Funny, I don't mind reading about sex or feminism, but this book simultaneously bored and annoyed me.
