The first two books in the Repairman Jack series, by F. Paul Wilson: The Tomb (there's no tomb in it), and Legacies.

"How To Survive a Robot Uprising: Tips on Defending Yourself Against the Coming Rebellion" by Daniel H. Wilson

I just finished this book, it was easy read and pretty interesting. Now I'm prepared for the uprising!!! Are you??????
