I don't think the layout or design of the forums is the problem. It's just that nobody talks anymore, which is sad, because we used to have hundreds of active forum posters, and I remember wanting to be "well known" when I first joined, and now.. I am pretty much one of the only ones left. And I post probably once every two weeks, if even.

I am not sure how the community part can be increased, our community was strong in the first place, because a lot of the TV Tome/TV.com crowd came over here, and for the most part, that's who was the main posters. But one by one, people would fade away.

I think the Forum traffic will pick up when the New Layout Implementation goes into effect. Hopefully that will spur current users to comment more and maybe by word of mouth bring in some new people? Anyplace in the Budget for a little advertising after the New Layout goes into effect? If so possibly over at IMDB or Wikipedia, EW.com, TVGUIDE.com etc.?

We need to somehow bring back the regulars. New users aren't going want to join if they look at the forums and see they're barren. I wasn't here in 06, but I know that those were the glory days and it'll be impossible to bring those back. However, if we can just get the forums to how active they were in say 2008, then we'd be in business. And of course it starts with all the regulars.
