The news system has been improved. The front page is also 1/4 smaller because of this change. And articles can now be linked to multiple people, shows and networks.

Personally I don't see much of a difference or possibly I'm only on the homepage briefly so I'm not effected one way or the other. I was wondering about the calendar though? Has that always been there and I've been living in bonehead status for awhile? I love love love it!!! Seriously , I love it. It's an amazing tool for when I've missed consecutive days of shows from a certain time period, and the fact that it breaks it down to my favs with descriptions saves me so so so much time and energy. I certainly hope others have found it as useful as I. I love this site and seems it just keeps getting better. Good work..keep it up.You guys are amazing. Merry Christmas!

How can you submit news? Or do you need to have certain privileges?

Yeah, submitting news is terrible now. Not a fan, unless their is a way you can that I don't know about.

Ditto. I just tried to submit some important news for a show, but gave up because I found no way. I, too, thought it was a privilege issue, but I step over to a guide I am editor for and hit the same dead end.

Yeah, some people are giving up contributing news for those still on the old layout, but the new system is so unreliable...

If you wish you can ask for the privileges to become a writer. Maybe we should post that more clearly somewhere on the site.

We had to keep up with the times, we are trying to slowly increase the news amount as we go along, but in july tvrage was having a hard time and we needed to re-strategize some areas of the website and we successfully did so, i hope you all eventually will accept this new system and we hope it continues to bring in more people,
in part don't blame it all on us, blame google!
but we were going in this direction eventually, we will try to make it easier to submit news in the future perhaps the only hitch is that it needs to be unique content as supposed to copied.
