About the drop down lists....

I realy hate it when most of the things at submitting are in drop down lists, for the months or other up to 10 options okay, but especially the Year (e.g. of birth), that is just so impractical... Hey and I'm a fast typer anyway

The data type checking should be done anyway, so I see no reason for this, but to slow down the contribution process

Has anyone suggested adding Genres to this site? (Or did I miss them somewhere? ^o) ).

if you know generes that are missing, you can post it here. also give an example show where the genre would be used!

Sorry, I meant associating Genres with shows. I looked on my favorite show and saw no genres nor any way to add them. Sorry for being such a n00b.

I would like to see a hint with the full country name for the Country flag before the username. You know not everybody can tell all the country names from the flags (I suppose a very small minority could rememer all flags o.0 ) and searching for *fill in flag description here* might not provide a good result

I would like a list of pending submissions that I have submitted so that can check them and PM somebody as to why whey haven't been handled, or to keep myself from duplicating efforts.

There should be some kind of option that allows you to edit the trivia for the People Guides, instead of deleting it and resubmitting it.

I am stuck! I have certain characters for my shows, especially the animated ones, where the same person played different characters over the course of the series. It is possible to list each and every character and season or episode starting and ending number in the little Attributes field but that is quite burdensome and some just might not fit.

What would be really helpful is if the database did not check for duplicate entries of a particular actor on a given Show or a given Episode and let the Editors check for duplicates. That would give us all the leeway to list their character references in an orderly fashion rather than all jumbled together.&)
