It's just when someone puts in mass contributions that you have to check them most carefully.

*shrug* I got a bunch of alt dates a week or so ago. Takes me about as long to click the Approve button and have the next one move to the top, as it does to go down a eeny-teeny little checkboxes and try to click them off one at a time.

I agree with you, King_Ryad, that using check boxes would make it easier. Even though it only takes a second for the page to load after accepting one contribution, those seconds really add up when you're dealing with a ton at a time.

However, what Chris said makes me think a lot of people wouldn't bother reading the submissions at all if it were this simple. I think the current system kind of forces people to do so.

However, a lot of people probably don't bother reading the submissions anyway.

In conclusion, no one ever submits anything to my shows, so I don't really care either way.

You're right Kelly. If you look around, it seems some members just accept the submissions so they don't have to be hassled with reading them through, and their guides suffer.

Well if its going to make things sloppier then don't bother.

A lot of people may not like this suggestion but i am going to throw it out there.

How about Background customization? Where people can contribute customizations for backgrounds, fonts, etc?

It's just a suggestion, i think it would be interesting to test out. I am not a huge fan of the coloring we have now.

If you have firefox, you can change the font in your settings. I wouldn't mind a background/layout change, if fierras was doing it.

Are editors ever going to be able to upload videos? I guess it really doesn't matter, but i was just wondering. I know there is copy right issues and everything that we would have to abide by.

I'm not too keen on the whole mood thing, i don't often do things with my profile just becaue there isn't much to do, the site is pretty bland. I think it would be cool to be able to change the background for our guides, and stuff like that. The only status format i am aware of is like facebook, which wouldn't be too bad i guess, i probably wouldn't use it though.

I wish we could think of a way to get the forums more active, hmm. Anyway site designers think take my suggestion in to consideration .

Sincerely,
King R.

-Most Visited People (like the Most Visited Shows feature)
-Recent Deaths (I know we have a death day/rip page, but I think it needs to be formatted differently)

I noticed when selecting the country of birth for a person there is "Serbia and Montenegro." Recently these two split to become their own independent nations, so just suggesting they each be added as their own option.

I've seen other TV-related sites do this, but not TVRage, but maybe interviews (BY TVRAGE) with actual celebrities. Not of Angelina Jolie proportions, but like..small time players, like reality show contestants and stuff like that.

ETA: And these are REALLY REALLY small time sites that get to do interviews, and TVRage is kind of big compared to them, so it's not that far-fetched.

I think that a lot of people are too lazy to figure out ages by subtracting years and months, so maybe we could display that next to date of birth or something.

Good idea. I used Wikipedia for my blog for that very reason.

For shows with a small amount of recaps, can that link not be shown?

I'm not sure when this feature was added, but I just noticed it!
