Are we able to mark guides as complete? That would be helpful.

I also agree that when a person's name is displayed in someone's profile or in the guide it should be a clickable link.

My little wish is to add som functionality to the quickinfo (http://www.tvrage.com/quickinfo.php) url, for example Country and classification, of course not as default but usable as an option, maybe &country=1 and so on.
And also, since i had no idea if anyone had suggested something similar before me, what about a search function in the forum! :}

How about picture galleries, for tv shows or people and there would obviously be a limit to how many pictures.

A 28 day rule should be implemented for creating threads. This was used at TV Tome, but they only did 10 days which is not enough. By this rule, a person would have to have been a member for 28 days before they can create a thread. This may help to deal with spammers, and anyone who wants to carry out proper conversation can do so after the 28 days.

your right about 10 days being to leinient, but 28 is a bit harsh. how aobut the middle, and make it 15?

Well ultimately it is up to Sebrioth, but I think 28 days is okay. If a person wants to carry proper discussion then they would have no problem with waiting. 28 days passes quickly. I think if he does implement it, he is more likely to go with your 15 days.

Another suggestion; at the bottom of the guide for a show it has this: Sailor_Yue Is currently the editor for this show.

I think it should be changed to: Editor: Sailor_Yue

And the name "Sailor_Yue" should be hyperlinked to her profile, this should be done for all guides, for both people and television shows. That is how TV Tome did it and I think that way is better. If you decide to keep the current way, "Is" should be "is".

Oh and if John Q. Public is reading this:

1. I am not a member at any CNET site.
2. I do not gloat to anyone about anything.
3. No need to thank me for any information I contribute to the site. I do it as I want to and like to.

I didn't mind him, but if that's how he's going to be...
Besides, he's probably over at TV.com gloating about how he stuck it to us. And I'd like to say on behalf of the rest of the mods, thanks for visiting and giving us the free info with no strings attached.

I am not "cool", please do not use that word I hate it and do not call me "dude" either. Please call me "PC". I asked Sebrioth to ban me as I went wacky just like I did about fifty times at TV Tome. I spent about 9 days submitting information to Quantum Leap and just lost it, I messed up the guide and Private Messaged Sebrioth to ban me, about an hour later I called him a "douche bag" in a Help & Support forum thread. ( I did not mean what I called him, I did it to get banned ) I know you all know I am FredBloggs, I Private Messaged Sebrioth about an hour after I joined and he kindly let me stay. I am not "SteamEngines number two" and please do not use the word "God" in that way. The 28 day rule is a good one, as most spammers can not wait that long and spam before, doing less damage as they only do posts and not threads.

I wanted (at the time) to get banned, about 1 second after I regretted it. I am lucky Sebrioth let me back here, and this is my last chance. At the time I wanted to be banned, want to know why? I felt I did not deserve to be an editor, I felt like I did not deserve to be here. I did the same at TV Tome. I was editor for about 15 musicians and on a spur of the moment I deleted them all and called the Webmaster a "douche bag" to get banned. I instantly regretted and literally begged him to let me back, this happened over and over again. Of course I did not mean the names I called him, and Sailor_Yue is probably right, I bet I do have a mental problem. I really do not want to do anything bad here, I enjoyed editing Quantum Leap and I want to carry on adding stuff to guides and thanks to Sebrioth, I can.

This is getting off-topic and you caused enough trouble as it is. You can either back off and get serious or else you'll get banned over and over again, until you get tired of registering.

This is about ideas, any other post that deviates from that will be deleted from now on.

Yes, sorry Murdock. To get back on topic then, here is a suggestion.

As well having a list for our favourite shows, how about one for our favourite people? And we could also have a limit of five. For example;

Favourite TV Shows:

1. CSI
2. Miami Vice
3. Sailor Moon
4. Only Fools and Horses
5. Uncle Buck

And then either below it or next to it;

Favourite People

1. Madonna
2. Michael Jackson
3. John D'Aquino
4. Deborah Pratt
5. Noel Edmonds

What do you think? Good idea? Bad idea? Unnecessary?

I kind of think that is a bad idea, because then they'll just spam anyways in already made threads.

Two more ideas, although these are actually Sailor Yue's.

Firstly, the "Links" section for a TV Show can only be contributed to when someone is an editor for that TV Show. It should be changed so that anyone can contribute a link and then have it accepted/rejected by a Site Moderator and/or Global Editor.

Secondly, for some TV Shows, seasons can be aired on a different network. We should have it on the front page for a TV Show what seasons aired on what network. I think it is a bad idea to it have as part of the summary as it can be hard to spot and/or look out of place. It is more consistent and neater to have it in the "Show Information" part under the "Network".

For example;

Network: Sci Fi (seasons 1-3)
--------------UPN (seasons 4-5)

Anybody like/dislike these ideas?

actualy JQP already said that it might not be such a good idea. i could just list on the main summary the stations sailor moon aired on. i dont mind
