Maybe the front page could have a review, the staff can pick a review they like and put it on the homepage. a daily or weekly featured show review.
Or they could write a review themselves of something.
Or a staff blog, they can write updates or news about the site, or TV, or people |

just found the problem for that, searched 3 hours for it

How about upon adding a picture (screencap) to an episode summary. how about a small sentence describing whats going on, if anything, on that screencap? |

I think that this is a very good idea, and had thought of putting something in the episode summary ie "Fred Nerks pictured on the right " but if it's possible to have the facility for a description about the actual screencap this would be much better .

Huh, never thought I'd be the one to steer a thread back ontopic...
I really don't think that having a daily pic is really a good idea at this time. I mean, we've got a solid user base, but still, I have the nagging idea that anything "daily" on the home page would fizzle and burn within a month or so. Maybe in the future when the site's back on track and progressing quickly like it was in late 2005-early 2006. Thing is, site homepages... they don't need to be flashy or incredibly snappy, but they need to be good, reliable and solid. Typos need to be nonexistant on a homepage. Same with glitches and bugs. To be honest, I thought the old page was great in its design. We could add a little more to it, but I don't think we need to get all flashy. |

I fail to see where could be a problem with deaf ppl and if you want to get an idea how it is for blind ppl, go take a look at the site with a text-only browser like lynx ;-) |

Hum well the front page still has only the schedule... At least we need a little Introduction to the site... A little showing around (may be in combination with a featured show) and an explicit reference to the Info Center.
Well and then some changing featured article or show like proposed... So it may also be interesting for ppl who already setteled here... |
