There are a lot of dating shows. I suppose the Reality (or gameshow) with the Romance category would work though.

Teen (for teen shows..maybe tween also) , since Disney and Nickelodeon, among other shows, market it for teens, but not adults or kids.

Court (ie Judge Judy, Peoples Court, Divorce Court)

I do think we need "Legal" as a category, to cover LA Law and Law & Order, etc. and the above ones I suppose.

Do we need a category called Contest? That might be a better term than Reality for a classification, since it would cover the Miss America Pageant as well as Survivor as well as American Idol as well as The Gong Show.

Also, where would you put America's Funniest Home Videos and Funniest Commercials shows?

Sketch Show is another that is needed as it's different to comedy.

Isn't that basically what the crime category is for, though?

Crime is intended for shows like the Sopranos, where criminals are the main characters. To me People's Court is not a "crime show".

We need Super-Heroes as a genre!

Maybe Crime/Punishment would work.
