I've been contributing to a specific actress and I've submitted like 16 quotes, 53 trivia and a display pic. But I only have 26.5 or so contribution points. What's the fastest way I can get up to forty?

I'm new here, so please help!

Submitting summaries is the submission highest in points. Submitting extras or crew to a show also racks up the points pretty quickly.

The first 40 always seems like the hardest, but you'll be there in no time.

Very cute avatar, by the way

A biography is the most points for an actor. You could also add gallery images.

The 40 points you need is points overall, not just for one particular guide. So if you get 40 points adding crew to a show guide, you can still apply to be the editor for a person.
