I'm new to programming and it's my first time interacting with an API, so please don't bash me.

I'm developing a program that needs to query the episode title so I've been using this URL and extracting the title from the XML: http://services.tvrage.com/feeds/episodeinfo.php?sid=SHOWID&ep=SEASONxEPISODE

It's been working great, but just recently got my API key and it's supposed to be added to the URL. I have no problems doing this but is there any advantage? Is there any limit that is lifted or something? Thanks in advance.

You can request access to show & episode summaries if you're using your own private API key
