Hi! I'm new around here so pardon my ignorance...

There are, for example, two sequel miniseries for Madō King Granzort (http://www.tvrage.com/shows/id-12145) which were OVA content...

First one is this: http://www.animenewsnetwork.com/encyclopedia/anime.php?id=4415 , it has two episodes

and second one has three episodes: http://www.animenewsnetwork.com/encyclopedia/anime.php?id=4417

What would be the best way of adding them to database? animenewsnetwork regards them as separate shows, I don't know if that's a good choice, since they only have a couple of episodes... So, separate season, unmarked ep; or something else?

Thank you

Hello and welcome to TVRage!

In cases where there is only one or two OVA episodes I'd say add them as specials, but in this case I think adding them as season two and three would be the best option.
Then add the name of season (ova) two and three as AKAs so they can be found with ease using the search function.

If you have any more questions don't hesitate to ask, we are here to help!
