which you prefer TV or Movies..

For convenience, probably Television. I watch a lot of Cartoons generally and they last little more than 11-12 minutes each. It's just one of those things that is so easy to go to and watch for a few, then leave.

Movies I have to invest in the whole thing and I know this might be just a generational "You whippersnappers have no patience" thing, but I get bothered after a good two hours. So yeah, probably Television.

I have a hard time really choosing one over the other just because they are such different forms of medium.

I liked Jonathan's point about time management regarding the amount of time spent watching TV & movies.
I rarely simply sit and watch something. I'm usually doing other things while a movie or show is on.

For instance I just watched Battleship today, which incidentally is one of the rare times I did just sit and watch (mainly because my Internet has been up and down all day), but I thoroughly enjoyed it for the just over 2 hours it lasted, but I doubt I'd get the same amount of enjoyment out of a 13 episode series.
It would take just over 9 hours (that's minus commercials) to watch this hypothetical first season of Battleship so I'm sure my interest, commitment level & overall enjoyment would not be as great as it was today.

I only watch things that I'm positive (or as close to positive I can get) that I'll like so, I suppose I probably get more in-the-moment enjoyment out of a movie but, for the fact that TV provides many more hours of something I enjoy than a movie does, I get more overall enjoyment out TV.

Definitely more into tv-shows than movies, it just works better for me to watch something that lasts 45-60 min compared to a 2 hour movie, so i tend to only watch movies that i think sounds really good whereas with shows i'm more willing to attempt to watch something i'm on the fence about for a couple of episodes before making up my mind.

Like both but still have to go to movies a little bit.

In my point of views both are great source of entertainment. Mostly people like to use both are according their choice. But I love to watch TV shows more than movies because in which have drama, Comedy, Romance and Action scenes that I love very much.

I think both are goods but I mostly preferred movies. Because in movies all movie watch in one time not suspense whats going on next episode. So movies are goodd..

When I was younger I preferred movies, but as I got older I started to lean more towards TV shows. TV period is getting a little redundant, but at least with the shows you can always find something new to watch. With movies you have to pretty much watch the same thing over and over again, and then when new movies are released, it's just a re-done version of an older movie(if anyone gets what I mean.. Lol).

I always prefer to Tvshows rather than the movies..

Their is always a interest remain in the Tv shows so i like it most...

I prefer TV shows over movies since they keep you "hooked" whereas a movie just entertains you for an hour and a half or maybe 2. TV shows have ongoing plots and twists that keep it interesting to watch and it also allows for more discussions and speculations about what happened and where the show is going. It just has a much higher entertainment level for me.

When I first read the title, this is immediately what I thought.

But after thinking about it I watched a lot of TV when I was younger. Sure it was mostly cartoons, but that doesn't make a difference.

Really though, it depends on my mood. I am leaning towards TV right now simply because it's easier for me to watch an episode rather than sit down for two hours or so.

Both (tv shows and movies) are good source of entertainment. But mostly i prefer tv show. For me tv shows are good for time pass.

Now that award show season is over and there's not much fashion to make fun of for a while

Movies and TV Shows both are best source for entertainment.

Movies when the weather is 60 degrees or better. Tv series are great when its cold out!
