Are you crazy? Dexter over PPG? Sure, Dexter was good in the beginning, but then completely lost it after that "Ego Trip" movie. FOP deserves no recognition after the crap they made this last season. FOP tries to be funny, while SB just acts like itself. Example:

SpongeBob

Woman Squid: Can you keep it down over there, Iron Lung? (bursts into laughter)

FOP

Crimson Chin: It's the Iron Lung!

There's a big difference.

And please, I beg of you not to destroy my thread. It was your arrogance that got your thread locked.

FOP is nothing compared to either Dexter or PPG

It should be noted that "Ego Trip" was meant to be the series finale (another one), and a new team for the most part took control of the series when it was revived, the same when a new team took over PPG after the movie whilst Craig worked on FHFIF, which thankfully isn't anywhere on that list.

Okay. Feel free to voice your opinions, though even fans of PPG say the series went downhill when a new team took over. And please, no personal attacks ("your arrogance"). Who told you it was "arrogance" on my part that caused the thread to be locked, or is this an assumption of yours?

I actually agree with you, seasons 1 was awful IMO, then it steadily got better until it was at its best around Season 9/10. Then it nosedived into pure crap for 3 or 4 years, and now it is slowly getting better.

I'm honestly surprised that they put The Critic and King of the Hill in there because they don't seem to carry as much weight as the bigger names in there, especially as the latter is quietly hilarious (yes, jokes can be funny without making endless pop culture references!). I also agree with Beavis and Butt-head and Futurama.

I'm not going to bother going into why I disagree with the inclusion of The Simpsons, other than to say that it's the same as why I cringe when I saw Family Guy in there.

My only real grievance is the absence of Duckman.

My assessment: SpongeBob together with Fairly OddParents are among the best animated series ever made. The Simpsons and South Park are terrible, but I can understand why they are on the list. This is unlike Powerpuff Girls, which I cannot understand, and it should be instead put in a "Bottom 25 Primetime Animated Series of All Time". FOP belonged on that list much more than PPG or Invader ZIM, and for me, there is only one animated series better than FOP, and that's SpongeBob.

Wow! You like a few good ones, but like some that are either stupid or horrible. You're entitled to your point of view, but I just don't get how anyone could like these shows. I bet Walt Disney is turning over in his grave right now.

It doesn't surprise me that Flinstones, South Park and Simpsons are in the top 3. The only one IMO that deserved to be that high is South Park.

The animation queen strikes again. There really isn't anything that I haven't tried. I always was the huge animation buff. Especially in college.

You're not alone Marcus I don't like South Park either, but I do love Simpsons. I don't care for Adult Swim except Futurama. I do like Spongebob but I got sick of Fairly Odd Parents no offense Marcus. I love it that Justice League and Samurai Jack are on there and Invader Zim.

i still enjoy the simpson for some reason, the older episodes were better, the animation was not as good, but i think thats a good thing. whether you people like the simpsons or not, or hate the fact its #1, it deserves it. TS paved way for most of the shows you see there and has become a cult hit, and still is provides good ratiings, otherwise i dont think it'd still be on the air. Why the show the Maxx was ever included, i dont know. I left Aeon flux blank because i've only seen the show like twice and i honestly dont know if i like it or not.

And I don't see why you can possibly think that FOP is the best thing ever - yeah it's alright, but it is hardly the Tolstoy of the Animation world.
And Disney was Cremated, so it would be quite the feat for him to turn in his grave

The Maxx was included because it was a really great show. It wasn't very well known, but it was well animated and had a phenomenal plot. It was a bit physiological though. You had to keep that in mind while watching it.

What I don't get is where is The Tick and Dr. Katz? There would have never been a Home Movies without Katz and quite frankly it was a better show. I'm not surprised Boondocks didn't make the list.

But really... where is The Tick? That was one of the funniest and wittiest animated shows I've seen in a long while. And wasn't Pinky and the Brain primetime for awhile? I could be mistaken...

You're kidding, right? I respect your opinion, but The Boondocks is the closest thing to South Park on Adult Swim. Although it's filled with racism, that's what makes the show... it just pokes fun at todsy's government and throws satire in whenever possible. And let's not forget, Al Sharpton's a total douche.

Also, notice how none of the shows that are on the list were made in 2005. It only goes from the Past-2004. American Dad! got a rocky start, but it's getting more ratings now, but do you see it on the list? The same applies to The Boondocks.
