Kaya is MTV's third scripted series EVER. (obviously not counting Laguna Beach, Date my Mom, Parental Control, Next, My Own, Exposed, Newport Harbor, and pretty much any reality show, besides The Real World..which is sort pretty real, except they hired this guy to be Colie's boyfriend last season for some reason). It's a dramedy about a Britney Spears/Lindsay Lohan-like girl who reaches sudden fame, and than does the whole tragic media w***e thing..or something. The other two series were Undressed, and some other show I never heard of. Anyways, discuss.

It's kind of sounds like CTV's Instant Star to me...

It'd be on for like a minute and cut to a commercial break. A minute and commercials. A minute. Commercials. I swear each episode was 5 minutes long.

This summer, they had a marathon on, and the show was really badly written and had horrible acting...

Seriously? They bought Unaired back to MTV and I missed it???

Yeah the acting on that show was some of the worst I've seen in my life. (And I've seen many episodes of 7th Heaven) and the writing and storylines were also just as horrible. It was kind of like a soap opera for retarded people. I loved it.

Undressed was like the walkway for young, unaccomplished actors to get out there in the business. I sure hope it worked out for some of them.

It was also a last ditch effort for failed actors. The guy who played Tommy on Power Rangers back in the 90s was in a few episodes

Donnie Stevens (Even Stevens) was in it and Ashley Tisdale's sister was apparently in it.
