I always put on some extra pounds during the holidays and I usually try to go on some type of diet, but of course, it fails. I watch shows like Celebrity Fit Club & The Biggest Loser and I've actually been doing pretty well for almost a year now. In the beginning I used to watch it just for entertainment, but then I got serious about it and actually followed some of their advice... Anyone else go through something similar to this?

That's awesome. Congrats on sticking to it! I'm too lazy to diet, but I probably should.

it's definitely 50/50 for me...I mean i tune in to shows that are all about the educational sense of dieting/exercising. But then there are those shows that actually engage u cuz it's actually entertaining. All in all, i still watch either type of shows to help me out because they interest me.

Yeah that's wat you mostly see on tv. New ones popping up and for some reason i end up watching them regardless lol. i saw a few new ones for this week...diettribe: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wv3OqEhpQls which they say has the therapist from celeb fit club. I didn't watch celeb fit but i've heard it's good. And the other one is the national body challenge on the discovery channel. Both look pretty entertaining.

The new season of the Biggest Loser (the biggest season yet, in terms of weight AND the number of contestants) aired last night on NBC. It will air again Saturday on the Fine Living Network (?).
