Going My Way was a remake of the 1944 film of the same name. It aired on ABC for 30 episodes during the 1962-63 television season. The storyline dealt with Father Chuck O'Malley being sent to a working class New York City parish to help aging Father Fitzgibbon. There the two priests sometimes clash due to conflicting ideas. Gene Kelly and Leo G. Carroll played O'Malley and Fitzgibbon, the roles that were played by Bing Crosby and Barry Fitzgerald in the 1944 movie.
