Goodnight Sweetheart

Goodnight Sweetheart was a comedy drama about a present day TV repairman named Gary Sparrow, who accidently discovers a time portal which leads to London in 1940. As he continues to travel back and forth between the two time periods, his life in both times becomes increasingly complicated due to his constant fabrication of lies to thew two women in his lives.

It's 1945 and the VE Day celebrations are in full swing in London. Future Prime Minister Clement Attlee turns up to join in with the festivities. Gary finds himself rushing to save Attlee's life when disaster strikes, but when he finds out that he has fulfilled his destiny and the time portal is now closing forever, he has to make a big decision.
