With the help of Helba, the crew make it to Net Slum. Tsukasa and Subaru quickly catch up. It is revealed that Morgana's true purpose is to makes sure that Aura does not awaken; and in order for that to happen, Tsukasa must be miserable.

Morgana sends Macha to destroy Subaru, that way Tsukasa will not keep hope. Macha calls a purple version of the Guardian to destroy Subaru, and Tsukasa saves her with his guardian. The two monsters strike each other, and disappear. Tsukasa tells them that he is ready to log out.
