Although this episode aired after "iOMG", it seems that it might have been intended for an earlier airdate since the next episode "iLost My Mind" takes place three days after "iOMG" with no one having heard or seen Sam since.

Despite being a crossover with Victorious, it is only an iCarly episode, although the segues and music do alternate between those from both shows.

The title sequence for this episode is different in that it is made up entirely of footage from the episode. Also, for the first and only time in the series, the theme has been replaced with a mesh of both the iCarly and Victorious, though with no lyrics. Victoria Justice has also been included in the main cast.

This episode cements that both iCarly and Victorious co-exist in the same universe. This is revisited in the co-spin-off Sam and Cat.

Victoria Justice, Leon Thomas III, and Daniella Monet previously appeared in the show as different characters. Justice's earlier guest appearance is alluded to when Sam notices that Tori looks like Shelby Marx.
