Diva actress Maddie Banks gets quite a surprise when the child she gave up for adoption shows up at her door.
With Arlo moving in, Maddie realizes she has to adapt, including considering the feelings of her son who wants to start establishing their relationship by cooking an elaborate dinner.
Maddie tries to make up for all Arlo's lost birthdays, and when she learns he has a talent for singing, she tries to push him towards a singing career, whether he likes it or not.
