Culver is the U.S. half of an Anglo-American team. His British partner, Edward Wingate, was once Culver's roommate at Oxford; now he's dedicated to an active bachelorhood and their high-risk profession. Wingate is played by distinguished actor John Standing, who has worked with Wagner before, as well as in scores of box office and TV successes.
Culver's job sends him after international criminals, jet-set embezzlers, killers rolling for the high stakes. Culver speaks their language. But talking to them is one thing, staying alive around them is something else. The beautiful people often turn out to have the bloodiest little secrets.
