Tony Franciosa plays Matt Helm in a debonair and stylish way with a line. Helm is a former U.S. government agent who has resigned to start off an exclusive investigation office. He is assisted in this venture by his girlfriend, Claire Kronski. His connection with forces of the law is Lt. Hanrahan, an old friend of Matt's.
Attorney Claire Kronski, defending a young woman
on a murder charge, hires another detective to investigate while Helm is away on assignment. Kronski gets most of the ho-hum action on Matt Helm when she defends Ellen Tanner from a murder charge.
