Episode Quotes
Emory: When the time comes, gambler, I'm gonna take care of you personally.
Beau: I'll imagine you'll have to draw straws.

Sally: Aunt Martha never allowed any visitors before.
Beau: Then I would say it's about time.

Beau: (about his room) Mrs. Flood, this looks like luxury to me.
Martha: Not luxury, Mr. Maverick, necessities.

Beau: Mrs. Flood, your hospitality is one thing. Your niece is another. I don't intend to take advantage of either.

Beau: I've been outbluffed by some of the best poker players in the country but they couldn't even sit at the same table with our lovely landlady.

Whitehead: This isn't a game of cards, gambler. It's more like a game of life or death.

Whitehead: (to Martha) With you and a fortune I'd be happy on the moon.

Beau: (to Judge Scott) Why you larcenous old goat!

Sally: They're going to do something to you as soon as the storm lets up.
Beau: I know. That's why I'm praying for bad weather.

Beau: I can't decide, Your Honor, whether you shine more brilliantly as a criminal lawyer or as a criminal.

Judge Scott: (to Martha) If you let them kill me you'll never get a penny.
Whitehead: Look at it this way, Judge, we're just cuttin' down on legal fees.
