Little Kim is busy with preparations for Christmas along with the rest of the family, but her grandparents appear with a court order for her custody. Problems arise for the Mulligans when they find out that they might have to give up the child they have taken into their family. Kimmy Lee Friedman, a Vietnamese orphan, has grandparents in the States, and they want to raise her. Sunshine Lee guests as Kimmy.
