Muppet Babies is one of the cartoon classic television shows of the 1980's that featured many theme topics based upon children viewers from around the world and countries. The series was a big hugh success that it even won many Emmy Awards as well. Each of the muppets were in a baby style of kindness, adventure and many many more.
Those include the baby characters of Kermit, Piggy, Gonzo, Animal, Scooter, Skeeter, Fuzzy and Rowlf. Recurring characters were Baby Bean Bunny, Bunsen Honeydew and Beaker. Yet they were credited in the main series intro theme music, many of them didn't appear in every single episode.
Muppet Babies experienced a shining light of outstanding breakthrough hits untill in 1990 the death of Jim Henson had upseted the many viewers and company under his license that the series's 7th and final season (which was not meant to really be) was slacking with many poor episode titles and story taste. That lead the series to end immediately since Henson's death. Muppet Babies later in 1998 became a success in airing in syndication on Nickelodeo's Nick Jr television. It lasted untill 2000. Then afterwords was never seen again.
No plans or updates have been confirmed for this series to have a DVD release as of 2008.
Off The Record Note: For some off-the-record reasons, Muppet Babies had a same airdate day together with NBC's 1985 sitcom, The Golden Girls. Except, Muppet Babies would air in the daytime on CBS, while on NBC, The Golden Girls would air in the evening time. In 1990, Muppet Babies ended in there final 7th Season, and in 1992 The Golden Girls ended in there 7th final season as well.
