Murder, She Wrote: Hit, Run and Homicide

Upon arriving in town to meet with eccentric inventor Daniel O’Brien, Charles Woodley breaks up Cabot Cove’s Founder’s Day Picnic when an apparent driver-less car strikes him and ultimately sends him to the hospital. As Jessica and Amos investigate what happened, Woodley’s partner arrives in town and has a run-in with the car of his own and ultimately dies from the impact. When it appears that Daniel had a hand in inventing the robotics of the driver-less car and that Woodley and his business partner once employed him, Jessica and Daniel’s nephew set out to prove that Daniel is being framed for the hit and run of Woodley and the death of his partner.
