A no b.s. salute to the men of the U.S. Navy that inspired this little kid in the 1950s. Also, fantastic theme music I would love to find and post. I can hum every bar of it today even though the series ended in 1958. I also liked the signature overhead shot of the aircraft carrier with sailors on the deck formed in ranks spelling out the words "Navy Log". Ahead of its time. Read more
