ABC is a non profit making television channel and was launched on November 5, 1956.

The channels show a variety of current affairs and documentary shows along along with programs for children and entertainment shows. The network also shows a variety of different sports.

Current affairs programmes to air on the network include Foreign Correspondent, Stateline and Four Corners. Overseas series to currently air on the network include the British shows Doctor Who, Little Britain and The Bill.
