Discovery Health Channel is available to view on cable and was launched on August 2, 1999. The channel is part of Discovery Communications, Inc.

The channel shows a variety of different programs all connected to health and well being. Their first line up included many shows which originally were broadcast from other Discovery Communications entities, such as TLC and Discovery Channel. They soon created their own reality based series, which include Mystery Diagnosis, Medical Incredible and Jon & Kate Plus 8.
