New York Undercover: Is It a Crime?

When a little girl falls an elevator shaft to her death down in her worn down building, the incident is written off as an accident. Unable to walk away from the case, J.C. goes against orders to find enough evidence to implicate the building's owner with gross neglect, enabling the girl's father to file a civil suit against the slum lord. Eddie keeps getting cold feet while shopping for Nina's engagement ring.
