Hear ye! Hear ye! The honorable Judge Judy Sheindlin is headed to primetime for the first time. Daytime's iconic judge is getting her very own one-hour special, the aptly-titled, 'Judge Judy Primetime,' which will air on CBS.

The network is paying tribute to the no-nonsense judge, highlighting her transition from family court judge to her daytime reign on her eponymous show, 'Judge Judy.' The special will feature clips from the '60 Minutes' profile on her that ran in 1993, which was how Hollywood discovered her. It also includes excerpts from the news magazine's 2003 follow-up story.
And, of course, what special on Judge Judy is complete without her classic "Judyisms"? The judge's trademark one-liners, which include such gems as "Dumb ideas come from people who have dumb brains," and "You speak. I rule, and then you shut up. Do you understand?" have been parodied on the late-show gamut, including 'Jimmy Kimmel Live' and 'Saturday Night Live.'

Even though 'Judge Judy' has been around since 1996, she's still going strong, if not better than ever. Her daytime show -- which is licensed in 125 markets -- has been the No. 1 show in first-run syndication for the last three years, as well as the No. 1 in daytime for four straight seasons.
'Judge Judy Primetime' will air Tuesday, May 20 at 8/7c on CBS.
