Coach is ready to put in some serious overtime on 'New Girl.' News just broke that Damon Wayans Jr. will officially return as a series regular when the popular FOX hit comedy returns for a fourth season later this fall. Who's up for a celebratory game of True American?!

The actor first appeared in the series premiere, but was unable to continue on the show due to his prior commitment to the now-canceled 'Happy Endings.' (Still super sad about that, by the way.) Coach was promptly written out of the show and replaced by Lamorne Morris' Winston.
However, following 'Happy Endings' demise, Wayans was brought back into the 'New Girl' fold in a recurring guest-star capacity this past November. Initially, it was only supposed to be for a four-episode arc, but his popularity on the network bumped him up to a "special guest star" position for the remainder of Season 3, at which point his character moved back into the loft with Jess & Co. to stir up all kinds of mayhem and hilarity.
