The final hole in TVR's coverage of the new fall broadcast lineups is now filled in, as The CW, the little network that has survived longer than anyone thought it would, has just released its official fall line-up. Five new shows are set to launch this season, and a few veteran series find themselves in unfamiliar timeslot waters. New shows are marked with an asterisk below.
8PM 90210 - Season 5 (This remake of the classic 90's teen series heads into its fifth year by jumping over from Tuesday nights)
9PM Gossip Girl - Season 6 (Ordered for a sixth and final season of 11 episodes, formerly at 8PM)
The Carrie Diaries* (Prequel series to HBO's Sex And The City, focusing on Carrie Bradshaw's senior year of high school, takes over the 9PM slot after Gossip Girl signs off for good)
8PM Hart Of Dixie - Season 2 (This surprisingly very successful Rachel Bilson fronted dramedy jumps to Tuesdays from its former home of Mondays at 9)
9PM Emily Owens, M.D.* (Drama about a former high school geek, now first year surgical intern, who finds out that much to her dismay, her new hospital is a lot more like the clique politics of high school than she bargained for, even featuring her old rival as a fellow intern)
8PM Arrow* (The CW will attempt to work that Smallville magic all over again, with this drama that follows the origin and creation of superhero The Green Arrow)
9PM Supernatural - Season 8 (After two seasons on Fridays, Supernatural moves to Wednesday in order to try to recreate the success of its former pairing with Smallville)
8PM The Vampire Diaries - Season 4
9PM Beauty And The Beast* (Modern update of the late 80's CBS series, this time starring Kristin Kreuk and Terra Nova's Jay Ryan as Catherine and Vincent)
8PM America's Next Top Model - Season 19 (After a huge ratings slide last year, ANTM gets shipped off to the Friday Night Death Slot, although on The CW it doesn't always lead to the graveyard)
9PM Nikita - Season 3
No original programming scheduled for the weekend, as is CW custom.
The following show is set to debut in mid-season, but doesn't have a timeslot yet.
Cult* (An investigative journalist finds a mystery and possible conspiracy behind a hit TV show that seems to be taking over its viewers lives, and compelling them to commit monstrous acts of violence)
