While NBC is busy announcing its renewals and many cancellations, that have some fans fuming (‘Community’), we have some good news for ‘Supernatural’ fans.
Misha Collins will officially be a series regular during ‘Supernatural’ Season 10! Thank goodness The CW isn’t ganking this angel, who knows how to wear a trench coat quite nicely, anytime soon.

Known for his role as Castiel, BFF to Dean (Jensen Ackles), Collins first made his angelic appearance in Season 4 -- look how far he’s come! Per E! News, details about Cas are “being kept under wraps” for Season 10 and, of course, the Season 9 finale on Tuesday, May 20.
Who knows what state Cas will be in by the time next season rolls around, especially with the angel war commencing and Metatron acting like God. As Jeremy Carver revealed about the finale, “All bets are off when Sam [Jared Padalecki], Dean and Castiel take the fight to Metatron. Uneasy alliances and brutal choices await...all culminating in shocking consequences."

As for Collins, what would he like to explore as Castiel? "I don't know what is left other than cross-dressing Cas. He's been crazy, he's been megalomaniacal, he's been contrite, he's been self-loathing, he's been whimsical, he's been human, he's been a leviathan," Collins told E! News. "I think that there's enough here that if they wanted to go back down any of those roads, there's plenty to mine. But he has not done cross-dressing yet, so that is a pretty wide-open field right there!"
‘Supernatural’ airs Tuesdays at 9/8c on The CW.
