Vance, known for roles on ‘FlashForward’ and ‘Law & Order: Criminal Intent’, is set to recur as Dr. Hendricks, who is head of an African-American hospital in St. Louis. His overall goal is to racially integrate his hospital. As for Auberjonois (‘Boston Legal,’ ‘Warehouse 13’), he’ll play Dr. Papanikolaou, the inventor of the Pap smear.
These two actors join a slew of familiar faces for the second season of the drama led by Michael Sheen and Lizzy Caplan, which follows two sexuality researchers and pioneers named William Masters and Virginia Johnson. Such familiar faces include ‘Breaking Bad’s Betsy Brandt who will play Barbara, secretary to William Masters, and funny lady Sarah Silverman whose role is being kept under wraps, except for her name, which is Helen.
