My own fav Dr Who moment was the final godbuy from David Tennent as he looked in on his previous companions just before he regenerated. It was never before done on the show and it was very moving. But the funest (not funnyest) moment was when Amy Pond was describing the man that was comming for her and her baby at Dragons Run and as she described his you where thinking she was talking about the Doctor BUT NO.... she was talking about Roary. And then there was the part before that when Roary entered the controle ship of the Darlects asking where Amy was and the Doctor explodes all the other ships just to get there attention. hahahahahahahahahahahhaaaarrr OH, and then ther...... well you get the point. We all have our favourite Sci-Fi moments and thank God they are different from each other. That way the show makers all strive to make there shows better and more memerable that the last. So I just want to say thanks to the folks that make these show that keep us entertained. I for one truley appreciate it, MIKE :-)

..really an odd list for sci-fi when it all comes down to it.. 1 and 5 are dramatic scenes.. not very sci-fi by nature at all, more like chick-flick fodder with years of foreplay .. where, for the writing 5)ESB scene there was not enough evidence to back up vader's dubious claim.. luke just snivelled a lot in disbelief before casting himself into the bottomless chasm. maybe this list needed more than one qualifier.. Like best sci-fi love moment, or best sci-fi effects moment.. Honestly, i barely remember the hulk beating up loki.. hardly a moment though, but i do remember 3 and 4 very well.. the longer i think about it the more i tend to believe the poll results were from too small a sampling, and in no way reflects the sci-fi genre, or its audience in part or in whole..
