tinalessia: "Let's also not forget that just because someone denies something, does not make him innocent."

Very true.  Nearly everyone in prison has at one time or another claimed "I didn't do it!"...even those that have been caught red handed. But the fact remains that, despite allegedly being innocent until proven guilty, prisons contain numerous people that are actually innocent, having been screwed over by the justice system in one way or another.

"I think that they would need to have plenty of evidence and all of their ducks lined up before arresting him let alone accusing."

You'd think wrong. People are falsely arrested and accused of things all the time...ask any African-American found within 2 blocks of an armed robbery :-(  If the police have even the smallest reason to suspect a person has committed a crime, they automatically arrest the person...it's then up to the prosecuting attorneys to decide if there's actually any/enough evidence.

Look at Michael Le Vell aka 'Kevin Webster' from Corrie who was up for molesting but later on was found not guilty.

All it takes is one person is right, but after Jimmy Saville, the police have to take it seriously (now) Dave Lee Travis was found not guilty, but has another impending charge afaik to appeal.

Bill Roach aka Ken Barlow was found not guilty, but Stuart Hall from 'Its a Knockout' from the 70-80's was found guilty & they're probably the tip of the iceberg!

All it takes is one disgruntled female to ruin someone's life. In the UK if a girls says to the police you molested her, the police will attack and destroy your life. They don't need any proof. The sentiment is 'no smoke without fire'. It matters not is is thrown out later in court, the courts and police will do nothing to accuser. It is fair game for a girl to wreck someone's life and get away with it with no hint of punishment. It is the 21st century's perfect crime. Not saying Rolf is innocent, I don't know but expect more people to got to jail.

Let's also not forget that just because someone denies something, does not make him innocent. Yes certainly people have been wrongly convicted, however this is an ongoing investigation, in that he has 12 counts against him. Not one peson screaming, "he touched me wrong". I think that they would need to have plenty of evidence and all of their ducks lined up before arresting him let alone accusing. We hear about cases like this every day in the paper by John Doe abusing children, pediophilism doesn't discriminate. If you're sick at heart and mind, you fall into any category or class.

"I guess 'Two Little Boys' is off the playlist."

Heck, Harris' "6 White Boomers" is a Christmas staple where I live...and probably most places as well!

But lets not forget that Harris has denied the accusations all along.  Just because he was found guilty doesn't mean he was *actually* guilty...he wouldn't be the first person wrongfully convicted of a crime.  I'm going to wait and see what happens in the appeals before I condemn him.
