Comic-Con: Casting Announcement for 'Agents of Shield' Season 2

A casting announcement has been made for the upcoming second season of 'Marvel Agent's of Shield' at the shows panel at San Diego's Comic-Con International. Nick Blood, famous for roles in dramas and comedies in the UK, will be joining the cast as Lance Hunter, a UK agent from the organisation STRIKE, called in by Coulson (portrayed by Clark Gregg) to bolster SHIELD's ranks. Also joining the cast is 'Dollhouse' alum Reed Diamond who will portray villain Daniel Whitehall in early episodes of the season, the character is known in the wider Marvel universe as his alter ego Kraken. This follows the announcement made last week, that Lucy Lawless will be joining the show's second season portraying a unknown character. The shows second season will in the US from September on ABC, a date has yet to be announced for the return of the show in the UK, on broadcaster Channel 4.

I watch a lot of TV, am from the UK and have never heard of Nick Blood! That is not to say he isn't any good.
