Not dead in Snohomish

I respected Robin Williams but suicide is a cowardly, egotistical and selfish act that assumes somehow your pain is greater then everyone Else's pain. It's BS. His act of suicide only judgmentally insults the pain everyone else feels. Suicide is a egotistical act. He has insulted all those those who cared by stating that that they do not matter as much his personal pain which is more important then they are. I personally have lived in pain for decades and have know several people who have killed themselves. I lost all respect for each one of them when they did so. Not because they gave up, nor because they considered they owe pain more important then the loss then would inflict but because they did not care enough about anyone one else to live. I'm alive not just for me. Someday I will die. My only real obligation is to provide happiness to other as long as the universe I live in allows. To not do so is to be a coward like Robin Williams. Love is always more important then pain despite the amounts. It's the only thing that will make this empty existence we live in worth anything. The dead can not love any more no matter how much we may love them. Only those willing to suffer in order to love just one day more will make all the deaths of those no longer here of any value. Death is worth nothing. Love is all this lives beyond death. Particles stop, bodies decay and become a neutral value again but what every being does at any one moment exists forever. It's only pain, do not let it win. It's only in your mind. You can control it and except it just as you will eventually except this cowardly and selfish act. Embrace a lover for just a moment, pet a pet, and know that that moment is the only this that will exist when you are dead and it is each such moment that matters. I just wish he understood that too.

God bless him. He gave me a lifetime of joy and laughter. His serious dramatic work was a pleasure to witness. I will miss you, friend. Find peace and understanding, thank you, and a sorrowful goodbye.

When I first heard about his passing, I was rather surprised - no doubt like the rest of his fans and his family. He truely came off as a talented comiedian and actor. Hope he finds the peace he may have missed in life now that he's at rest.
