One of Channel 5's most successful imports came in the form of 'Wentworth Prison' last year. Fans of the Australian prison drama, will be happy to hear the second season will head to the channel between August 30th and September 5th. Also in the same week, the third season of 'Dallas' will begin airing on the channel.
Timeslots for both dramas have yet to be confirmed. But looking at the first release of the weeks schedules, Wednesday, September 3rd has a hours 'TBA' at 8pm and Thursday, September 4th has an hours 'TBA' at 10pm. It would be a strange move for the channel to air one of it's imports in the earlier 8pm hour, with imported dramas normally airing at 9 or 10pm. However 'Dallas' was shunted to a later 11pm slot for the majority of it's second season, after it seriously underperformed in the ratings. Another theory would be that perhaps the shows won't have a regular timeslot until 'Celebrity Big Brother' ends the week afterwards and that the shows may just air in a different timeslot until the reality show is over.
