Netflix Pays $2M an Episode for 'The Blacklist'

With over 50 million paid subscribers, Netflix can afford to make some extravagant spending decisions. The online streaming service has acquired the exclusive rights to the NBC series ‘The Blacklist.’

‘The Blacklist’ was the number one new show for NBC last season, raking in the Monday night ratings, and this new deal reportedly values the show at $2 million per episode. This is the largest SVOD deal that Netflix has made so far.
