Just because Nickelodeon's popular teen comedy iCarly is currently airing its final season, that doesn't mean there aren't a few more treats in store for fans. Emma Stone, (star of Zombieland, Easy A, The Help, and the upcoming Amazing Spider-Man) has signed on to make a guest appearance on an episode set to air later this year.
Stone joins recent and upcoming guest stars like First Lady of the USA Michelle Obama, The Big Bang Theory's Jim Parsons, boy band One Direction, and Late Night host Jimmy Fallon in gracing the Nickelodeon series with their presences. The episode in question will see Carly and her crew attempting to find some adult friends for her older brother Spencer. This leads them to cross path with Stone's character, described as an iCarly "super-fan". If you think this sounds unrealistic, you must not be aware of the huge adult fan following the show draws. They may not want to admit it, but they watch. I don't judge them though, I watch pro wrestling after all.
While no air date for the episode has been set in stone (sorry) as of yet, I'd expect a July airing, to coincide with the release of the new Spider-man flick. Cross promotion and all that. The final season proper of iCarly will wrap up before the end of summer, but a special "series finale event" will hit the air in November.
Do you watch iCarly? Are you excited to see Emma Stone's guest spot?
