Chuck's Yvonne Strahovski To Do Multiple Episodes Of Dexter

Yvonne Strahovski

Fresh off the well received series finale of NBC's Chuck earlier this year, the beautiful and talented Yvonne Strahovski has just booked her first TV role since CIA badass Sarah Walker. Strahovski has signed on to appear on multiple episodes of the hit Showtime drama Dexter's upcoming seventh season. Exactly how many episodes has yet to be disclosed.

Yvonne will portray Hannah McKay, a strong-willed independent woman with a complicated and unpleasant past that she's constantly trying to overcome. A series of events leads Miami Metro to ask for her assistance in cracking some cold murder cases, which leads to her working alongside America's favorite serial killer Dexter Morgan. However, there is apparently more to McKay than what she presents on the surface, and Dexter takes it upon himself to find out what she's hiding. This being Dexter, the chances of it not involving murder are about 0.1%. Although it would be a fun wrinkle if she's somehow connected to one of Dex's past victims.

Production on season seven of the critically acclaimed drama began last week, and the season premiere will air on Sunday, September 30th on Showtime. Only time will tell what the seventh year of Dexter has in store for us, but one thing I'm certain of is that we'll never get another villain as horrifying as John Lithgow's often nude Trinity Killer. That guy was seriously creepy.

Do you think Yvonne Strahovski will make a good foil for the always great Michael C. Hall?

That's true... but Edward James Olmos made it watchable again... That man can act...
He has a brilliant subtelty to him and the way he performs is almost beautiful...
And of course that finale was intriguing as shit...
Showtime truely knows how to captivate their audience :)

wow, I disagree..even though John Lithgow was seriously the scariest since Hannibal Lechter, I thought Colin Hanks actually did a good job of his portrayl. he seemed so lost and innocent and for me that's what made it so good the irony of it all being that psychopaths aren't just your typical big scary looking monster types. he looked so all american and it gave me chills to finally realize it had been him all along.

On another note, I'm really looking forward to the next season and I don't much care what the story will be, I'm just dying to find out the whole Debra/Dexter dynamic. Really want to see where that will lead, even if we know of course she won't be tuurning him in. I'm so glad she'll finally know the truth!

Last season featured one of the most boring serial killers in Colin Hanks. He always had a scowl on his face like he was suffering from terminal constipation. I'm sure he thought he was scary looking but every time I saw that look on his face I wanted turn the channel. He single-handedly almost made the sixth season of Dexter unwatchable.
